Verify a Satori Coin Gi Redeem Kit

Before purchasing a Satori Coin Gi from a reseller, it is strongly recommended that you first verify the authenticity of the private keys in the Redeem Kit generated by the original buyer.

If you haven't already, ask your reseller to privately provide you with the following two items:

Images of the Satori Coin Gi

Look for:

  • The serial number on the back is clearly legible.
  • The serial number matches the one shown in the Redeem Kit.
  • The tamper-evident seal around the coin reading "ex nihilo nihil fit" is intact, undamaged, and unbroken.

The corresponding Redeem Kit (PDF)

Look for:

  • The file contains keys and legible QR codes for scanning
  • The serial number matches the one shown on the tail-side of the Satori Coin Gi.

Once you have both, you can verify the contents by scanning a QR code in the Redeem Kit.

You can use your smartphone (easier) or a webcam from a desktop or laptop computer for this process.
